At Dalton’s Crossfit, we have bridged our Olympic Weightlifting program with Takano Weightlifting, facilitating a competitive, fundamentally-developed environment, in which all types of athletes are welcomed and encouraged.The program is maintained by former, and current competitors in the Olympic Weightlifting world, working towards the creation of a competitive team, dynamic learning environment, and fueling passions.
The sport has evolved from the beginning, and--with that-- so have training methodologies. We, having understood these changes, provide daily programming for our athletes and individualize our coaching in a way that works best for each individual.
Our times are as follows:Monday Wednesday 4p.m.-8p.m. Open Gym
Tuesday Thursday 6p.m.-8p.m. Guided Instruction and Open Gym
Saturday 7:30a.m. -10:30a.m. Open Gym
Guided Instruction offers the attentive, hands-on coaching needed to better each athlete and to build upon previous sessions. It is within this time, that members will be working closely with a coach to focus on their weaknesses, tendencies, and kinesthetic awareness, while still building upon their strengths and successes. Open Gym offers athletes the developmental space they need to make strides away from Guided Instruction. Coaches will still be available, and always wanting to offer guidance, but, this is a time for the athlete to grow, individually, away from the class setting, and away from hands-on coaching. The Takano Weightlifting Program here at Dalton’s Crossfit is guided by educated and competitive, athletes and coaches, offering a refreshingly fun, yet, challenging program, for all ages, and for all types of athletes, where everyone will attain personal growth.
